Hi! My name is Flor Maldonado. Mexican-born, raised between the Bay Area and Zihuatanejo. I grew up appreciating natural landscapes and carefully designed spaces where I would join my father working on construction or remodel details. My favorite part of this phase was the mix of cultures I interacted with. These childhood highlights sparked a lasting appreciation for beauty, unique experiences, creative people, and the feeling that they can create together.

My path to events design came through years of creative exploration, from completing a degree in digital communications to production roles in the design and architecture world. In 2016, while planning an event for a florist client, I discovered a new language of expression: refined and organic designed florals. Flowers felt like a natural extension of everything I valued in events and tailored experiences. By 2018, I launched my studio: Flor Caballero. I honor my late grandmother by integrating her last name into the brand. Ignacia Caballero´s legacy of beauty, love, and family continues to guide my work.

Event design is about the client, what they value, their story, and their essence. I aim for results to reflect a blend of them, the surrounding space, and my care.
